Final Weekend of the Parade of Homes
This is the final weekend of the Parade of Homes so be sure to come out and visit us on the tour before it ends! This year Custom One Homes has 3 homes on the tour. Neighborhoods include Everwood of Cottage Grove, Autumn Ridge of Woodbury and Stonemill Farms, also of Woodbury. All three are stunning homes you won’t want to miss.
In addition to being the final weekend of the Parade of Homes, it is also the Remodelers Showcase. Both are wonderful opportunities to see what’s new in home building and remodeling.
The Parade of Homes and Remodelers Showcase runs this Thursday through Sunday from noon to 6pm. No tickets are needed unless you’re going to visit the Artisan Dream Homes and Artisan Dream Remodeled Homes.
About the Remodelers Showcase
In its 29th year, the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC) is proud to present the Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase. This Spring, visitors can tour 57 remodeled homes the final weekend of the Spring Parade of Homes. Homes are open Friday, March 18th from 1:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday, March 19-20 from noon to 6:00 pm. Entry to all the homes is free with the exception of three Dream Remodeled Homes that request a $5 donation to support the BATC Foundation.
Kitchens #1 Remodel Project
The remodeled homes on tour feature virtually every type of remodeling. Kitchen remodel (47 of them) remain the most popular projects to show. Visitors can see 14 additions, at least 27 baths, 10 lower level finishes, seven whole house remodels and two teardowns. There are several renovated bedrooms, mud rooms, offices, family rooms plus exteriors, porches and decks to tour, all showing the latest in design, materials, products and construction techniques from the region’s best professional remodelers.
Artisan Dream Remodeled Home
The Artisan Dream Remodeled Homes help the BATC Foundation build and remodel homes for area families in need by asking visitors to donate $5 at the door. This Spring, the Foundation selected three unique remodeled homes to feature. Artisan Dream Remodeled Home #R29 by Xpand, Inc. is a 50s rambler located in Orono and renovated for modern lakeside living. Home #R33 by AMEK Custom Homes is located in Wayzata and demonstrates how a fire-damaged home can be resurrected to retain its distinctive architecture while adding valuable square footage. Oslo Builders renovated an Edina mid-century modern home, #R45, to maintain all the original charm while bringing it beautifully into the 21st century.
